Hi! My name is Liz, and I'm a mom of kids with special needs, a special educator and disabilty consultant, and a special needs parenting coach.

I recently heard someone say that being the parent of a kid with special needs is like landing in Advanced Placement (AP) parenting when you just wanted to be in the “regular" track... the pace moves really fast, you're being assessed all of the time, and you're not quite sure of what you're doing.

Fear not! Sometimes what we all need is someone who can help us think through our questions, worries, hopes, and help to design a path for the best next steps. My professional and personal experiences have led me to be helpful for parents of kids in all types of situations and needs.

If this is you, perhaps my coaching would be a good fit for you! While I can't give you the answers, because no one is more expert on your child than you, I can be a thought partner and provide ideas for resources.

In addition to coaching parents of special needs kids, I provide consultation and training to private schools, camps, businesses, and organizations that work with kids/families. The focus on my consultation is on the nature of how disabilities present in a variety of settings and sitautions, and how to best prepare your environment and staff to support the needs of all kids with whom you serve.
